On May 28th at 2:48 pm (12:18 pm in Saudi Arabia) and on July 16th at 14:57 pm
(12:27 pm in Saudi Arabia), the Sun would be exactly above the Kaaba in Makkah. From the shadow of any
standing (and erect) object at that time, we can calculate the exact (and the most accurate) direction of
Qibla.
On November 28th at 2:39 am (12:09 am in Saudi Arabia) and on January 16th at 2:59 am
(12:29 am in Saudi Arabia), the Sun would be exactly opposite Kaaba in Makkah. In places where it is
day time at that moment, from the shadow of any standing (and erect) object at that time, we can calculate
the exact (and the most accurate) direction of Qibla for those places.
