ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS

IQRA is giving away scholarships to needy students by taking care of a substantial portion of their annual college fees. This is done after careful and thorough scrutiny of all the applications. The purpose of this project is to encourage students to get into colleges to pursue higher education and to ensure that financial incapacity is never a constraint in doing so.

In 2006, IQRA received over 50 applications, of which nearly 90% was approved and grant disbursed. This project is financed by contributions of the educational enthusiasts world over. To learn how you can help us, contact us today

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ON LOCAL TV

IQRA organised - with the help of S-Tv, a local cable channel - a 19-day, live broadcast of educational programs - targetting 10th and 12th standard students - taking their public examinations. Able teachers from various schools took part in this project and it was widely well-received by the students and parents community

STUDENTS DATABASE

IQRA - with the co-operation of all the Kayalpatnam schools - is currently collecting the database of students taking their Standard 12 public examinations . This is being done to identify students who have the capacity to pursue higher studies and to assist them
