Mr.V.Bharathram, a student of Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nanganallur, Chennai -
had scored 1180 out of 1200 and topped the HSC examinations in 2006. The results were announced
on 22nd of May, 2006.

He had scored 192 in Tamil, 191 in English, 198 in Physics, 200 in Chemistry, 200 in Maths and 199 in
Biology. With scores of 50 out of 50 in Biology, 49.58 out of 50 in Physical Sciences at the
Entrance, he had since joined Madras Medical College to pursue his MBBS.
In order to inspire the students of Kayalpatnam schools to emulate this achievement, The Kayal First
Trust - jointly with Iqra Educational Society - organised the Meet the State Topper 2006 and
Career Guidance Programme - at Jalaliya Nikkah Majlis, Kayalpatnam on the 3rd of September,
2006. Mr.V.Bharathram - along with his parents - participated in the event and gave useful tips to
the students of Kayalpatnam schools in an interactive session chaired by the popular TV anchor,
Mr.M.Shahul Hameed.
