the revenue generated by the exchange in the last three financial years?

- Is there any technical limitation on number of connections/customers that can be granted
Caller Line Identification Functionality in the Kayalpattinam Telephone Exchange?
There is no such limitation. However, additional hardware wiring is required at Line Circuit
Card for each telephone where CLI facility is to be provided
- How many consumers in Kayalpattinam Telephone Exchange have availed the separate internet-only
line?

- How many complaints of excess billing was received about Kayalpattinam Telephone Exchange
by the exchange and Tuticorin SSA in the last three years? What measures were taken to address
those complaints?
In all 56 complaints were received during the last three years about Kayalpattinam Telephone
Exchange. All the complaints were investigated into and the customers were replied of the outcome
of the investigations
- How does Kayalpattinam Telephone Exchange settle its combined bill (bill arising out of combined
total of all its customers' bill) with its higher authority (Tuticorin SSA/Tamil Nadu BSNL/Central
BSNL)? Is it based on total metered calls (without breakups - combining local+STD+ISD metered calls into
single unit) or is it separately as local, STD and ISD metered calls?
The metered calls are charged for units of local, STD and ISD calls put together
- What measures are there in the Kayalpattinam Telephone Exchange to protect Consumer A from being
billed for calls made by Consumer B?
Dynamic locking facility has been provided to the customers to protect their telephones from being
used by unauthroised persons
