1. Is it true Wakf bodies should submit their accounts every month to the Wakf Board?
   
   It is not necessary to furnish the accounts every month to the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board. But they should submit the account to the board every financial year.
   
   
2. When is the last date to submit Budget Estimate in a financial year?
   
   As per Section 44 of the Wakf Act, 1995, every wakf has to submit their Budget during February every year.
   
   
3. When is the last date to submit Statement of Account in a financial year?
   
   As per Section 46 of the Wakf Act, 1995, last date for submission of accounts to the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board before 1st day of May every year.
   
   
4. What expenses can be deducted from the total income for the purpose of calculating the contributin fee?
   
   The following expenses are deducted from the total income for levy of contribution
   
   (i) Municipal taxes
   
   (ii) Panchayat taxes
   
   (iii) Corporation taxes
   
   (iv) Chennai Metro Water Wastage and Sewerage taxes
   
   (v) Land taxes
   
   (vi) Maintenance of building charges (deducted at 5% on total rental income or actual expenses whichever is less
   
   (vii) Agricultural land directly maintained by the Wakf management (deducted at 10% on total agricultural income or actual expenses whichever is less
