Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return":-

Feel deeply sad to hear the sudden demise of SK Mama and in this moment of grief I express my heartfelt sympathies and condolence to his family.

I know how close you and your father were and your father was one of the kindest, wisest, most thoughtful person I’ve ever known. Even though you and I are thousands of miles apart right now, you know that my prayers are with you for your deceased father. May Allah bestow you the fortitude to bear his great loss and May He rest his soul in eternal peace.
