Some time back, when I was in Kayal, took my 3 year old son for a walk to the Bazaar. While coming back, he refused to walk and insisted on carrying him. Happened to meet SK Mama near the AP st - SC road corner. He asked my son - why dont you walk? - for which my son said கால் வலிக்குது. He asked, உங்க வாப்பா கால் வலிக்காதா? My son calmly got down and started walking. He had this amazing ability to connect with people of all ages. Held his elders in high regard - I have personally seen his respect towards people like Syed Alim, my grand father and Kavignar SMB Mahmood Hussain.
