காங்கிரஸ் ஆட்சி காலத்தில் ராணுவம் , போலீஸ் மற்றும் மத்திய அரசு வேளைகளில் முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு ஓரவஞ்சனையே காட்டப்பட்டது .. முஸ்லிம்கள் ஓட்டுக்காக என்ற நிலையை தவிர வேற எந்த மாற்றத்தை கொண்டு வந்தது ?

When Afrikaanars were controlling 99% of arable lands in Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe had very high GDP, but the GDP benefitted just 1% whites in the country. When Mughabe occupied the lands, GDP slumped and the country looked bad in the international forums. Guess what – it made no difference to 90% of the country’s population.

The open question is how does and whom does the growth benefits? Would you call DCW expansion a necessary national growth? Well… if you would call Koodankulam an economic growth, then DCW sure does fall into the same category. What is this economic growth for tens of thousands of families of our fellow adhivasi citizens kept in open air prisons simply to enable the NETAs to dig mines in their villages?

I always believe – TVs, air-conditions, refrigerators and nano cars don’t represent economic growth. You can get all of these in Saudi Arabia with much better quality, but Saudi Arabia as country could possibly fall below India in national development – a country which spends 10 times lower than India in education, science and research.

Since the independence, Congress netas have increasingly become arrogant and ignorant of people in the regions. Nehru promoted unity in diversity. I loved watching the song “Mile sur mera thumara” as it was sung in various languages and pictured people of various ethnicities in this country. But today’s congress leaders think of India no different than RSS. . What is forgotten is India is actually a nation of nationalities. India was never a homogeneous country. You have to look around to know what has happened to the political systems that have tried centralized totalitarianism. It only takes common-sense.

When in a country borders, flags and anthems get more respect than its citizen, the country is moving towards totalitarianism.

Nevertheless, Congress is better than BJP because BJP will do all the bad the Congress was doing – aggressively and profoundly.
