Certainly it will cause extra burden on both middle class and poor family. In this regard government has three options. 1) Pass the burden on general public 2) Take it on itself. 3) Reduce the Taxes.
The second option means government can not go on take the burden on itself. At some point in time it has to relieve itself by passing the buck. Literally it has to pass the burden again on public. Therefore it is lose lose situation for public. The best thing government can do is to reduce the taxes.
