Good to see so many recommendations. Glad to know that, these many capable (?) candidates for this position. Most of us have recommended someone who is linked with our family/group/ideologies/street (Muhallavasis)/business we belong to. Surprised to see some names who are settled in abroad & coming to kayal for vacation once a yr or once in two years. Not sure whether those personalities are aware of it or not.
Not sure how many of us tried to compare them with litmus test (below) to asses...how many of them are really capable.
Candidate should be….
1. a person who lives in kayalpatnam (Not in Abroad) & easily accessible to everyone
2. honest, service minded, educated (how many of our MLA’s or MP’s are educated…so talented enough to perform this role), aware of his/her responsibilities & short/long term need of kayal
3. impartial and equally sees and treat everyone (meaning who can freely work with all sects & non muslims)
regardless of the ideologies & religion he/she belongs to
4. Able to drive his/her sub ordinates/counselors & aware what they are doing (no more surprise like fraud checks in the past)
5. Influencing & convincing the people
6. Bold, Young & energetic
Candidate should NOT be….
1. a PROXY or puppet of some individuals or particular group or political party who send & drives them from back
2. a Yes Man (boom boom)
3. someone who wants to hold this position for honorary or namesake or social status
4. Materialistic
5. Not too old (being an obstacle to effectively perform the role)
All I wanted to say is, let us pick someone who pass this litmus test to perform his/her role honestly & diligently.
Guys…Is there anyone who you think really can pass this test. There are folks who don’t want to come to limelight….but they should be highly capable. Bring them to this list.
