One-way routing options posted bySalai.Mohamed Mohideen (USA)[27 December 2011] IP: 205.*.*.* United States | Comment Reference Number: 15161
I've been watching the news on one-way through Nesavu st for a while. Our Chairman has taken a good step to to address their concerns. But after reading their resolution #1, my gut says that our Nesavu jamath is very strong on their decision & bit adamant(?)...not at all ready to consider one-way through their street even as a last option.
Our Nesavu jamath thrown some options to the table... one of them is, route through visali amman kovil & thattar kudi st. I'm not sure whether these streets are broad/narrow & viable option to consider. Still, it sounds me fishy & surprised with this recommendation since our fellow muslims populated st is not at all ready to consider one-way through their street but recommending options through other streets... that too non muslim brothers living area. would it be fair to ask them? Don't their childrens play in their streets & their safety wont go for a toss???
Incase if am not wrong, the recommended option 1 (i.e. encroachments.. not sure how true is this) is not going to solve the problem completely since I dont think roads will be more broad enough even after clearing the 'so-called' encroachments.
There is no doubt that, our nesavu jamath's concerns (even though its a very common concerns which KTM/Main/Haji appa st folks came across) shouldn't be overlooked and addressed appropriately to make an amicable solution. We all can understand that, there are some inconveniences to Nesavu jamath folks. They will not be requested like this, if Nesavu st is somewhere in the corner of kayal. As most of us think, one way through Nesavu st is the convenient & closest/best alternative route to settle down this traffic issue.
I understand that, our nesavu jamath is very fame for their unity and one of the greatest jamath in kayal. As we all wish, they also should be open and ready to consider (i.e. one way through their st) incase if there is no way out for this one-way problem. Any how, decision is with PWD(?) & gonna impose something based on their analysis. Before they do, our Nesavu jamath can voluntarily (or atleast after making a better guess on what PWD's decision would be) come forward which will be praised & remembered in kayal history.
After seeing the progress, Dawn is not far away to this one-way traffic problem
