The One-way Issue posted byAbdul Kader (USA)[28 December 2011] IP: 76.*.*.* United States | Comment Reference Number: 15183
In their statement in this website a few weeks ago, the Nesavu Street Jamaathars lamented for not having consulted them in this contentious issue of one-way. Now that they have brought out a Blueprint for an alternate one-way route, that is unviable and absolutely impossible in present norms.
Moreover, did they consult with our fraternal community members living in Visalatchi Amman Koil Street & Thattarkudi Street? This very Jamaathars complained about, they being not consulted, despite the facts to the contrary.
There are certain recent goings on that were suppressed by the Nesavu Jamathars and as a last resort are trying to whip up demagogic vehemence in this issue.
After using various undesirable influences to stop the one-way being implemented through their Street they resorted to take this issue through the court. The honorable court had dismissed their petition and had ordered the relevant authority to proceed with the implementation. This fact is being suppressed by the Jamaathars who are now using propagandist tactics to derail the implementation.
It is an irony to note Janab Ibn Saud lending his support to the Jamaathars’ Narrow-mindedness. I have heard various lectures and discourses delivered by him on sacrificing for the community and advocating broadmindedness. He should enlighten the people of his Jamaath and take steps to ally their unfounded anxieties.
How many of us know that the Road in the Main Road does not exist in the earlier blueprints of our Panchayath and that Main Road which we are currently using is not in the Highways Map as well? The residents of Hajiappa Thaika Street, Arampalli Street and KTM Street have in the old days have contributed their pieces of lands for the traffic flow and hence the Main Road is Narrow. There are no Encroachments as claimed by the Nesavu Jamaathaars.
What, if the residents of the above mentioned Streets Join hands and protest against the traffic flowing through their streets for the same reasons? Our town would be totally cutoff from the traffic. So let people who are known to Janab Ibn Saud talk to him and ask his help in convincing his Jamaathars to settle this matter amicably with no further delay.
