It is absolutely an innovative idea to recognize the most excellent personality of Kayal but all together it’s a toughest task in front of the selection committee to find out a capable individual who should meet the entire required criterion if selection is based on general observable facts. For example, if the award shall be honored to a social activist, the recipient might be deficient in education, religion, communal awareness etc. Then it should not be called as “Person / Kayalite of the Year”.
Hence it is appropriate to categorize the award selection for special role in different aspects as listed below taking into account of some criteria in that exclusive area:
Academic Award
Key Measurement:
• Notable appearance in the public exams
• Achievement in research (Phd)/ Higher Studies
• Career frontrunner.
Religious Service Achievement Award:
Key Measurement:
• Hafidh who has memorized Holy Quran in his
young age.
• Emergence to public appreciation through his
aptitude (like today, one Hafidh got the
chance to participate in the International
level Qur’an memorization competition in
Makkah).
• Alims’ prominent activity that inspired unity
of our Kayal Community not showing flexibility
in religion.
• Exposed one’s talent in Hadhees translation or
authentic Islamic History Books widely
available in Arabic but yet not reachable to
our hands.
Award for Social Activities / Extra Curricular activities:
Key Measurement:
• For service excellence considering only the
welfare of our Kayal and no favoritism is
shown to anyone, it is applicable from
counselor to town president.
• Bravely activities
• Sport achievement.
• Achievement through Local / Abroad social
welfare organizations.
* No gender variation for Eligible award recipient / Expatriate students to be included.
This is just my suggestion within my limited thinking, Many valuable proposals and ideas from fellow Kayalites are coming up to enhance this. By observing the all the assorted ideas, the administrator and his team could take a sensible decision to move ahead this great initiative.
May Allah accept and reward you for your great deeds.
