Asslaamu Alaikum,

Thank you respected Brother Shajahan for your response and giving me a chance to clarify to you and to one who have similar opinion on the code of Islamic law in Saudi Arabia to manipulate the religion as a victim through this happening.

Whilst you were welcoming our ideas and thoughts (from ME/ KSA) with a documentary proof to support this case, you unfortunately failed to quote any evidence to support your article other than merely quoting hearsays and debased allegation from the local media.

Though you claimed your intention is not against Shariyah laws, your contents indirectly touches the Islamic Law and feeds anti-Islamism. What you have mentioned that ‘whole world says against this case’ can simply be described in other world as Islamophobic world stands against this. I welcome if you can list out the westerners who were favored with the diplomatic intervention whereas we have given an instance that a woman from Royal family was brought into justice earlier.

Here I must admit few diplomatic interventions to some petty crimes committed by the westerner where Islam permits and gives a right the ruler to pardon the convicts. But in this particular case Islam has given full rights to victim’s next of kin to decide the fate the convicts not to the ruler.

I agree with you that it is not an easy job to write an article by referring various sources and it causes you trouble while being criticized easily. In the same way, I had to interfere with my comment while the code of Islamic law is simply ridiculed here by the media and anti-Islamic elements and unfortunately by you as well in your article. I just wish to give you an instance from the media and please read below article on Jan 12, 2012 to understand how the Asian Tribune news has discharged a poison out of this subjected issue.

London, 12 January, A poor Sri Lankan housemaid was beheaded on a trumped up charge of killing an infant of her employer on Wednesday - 9th January 2013. Saudi TV went live with the vile execution which millions around the globe saw with awe and trepidation. World leaders and human rights organizations and Asian Tribune have condemned the Saudi Royal family for ordering the killing of an innocent girl from Sri Lanka. They beat the Sri Lankan maid before cutting off her head with a sword which was not a clean cut. Given below the link for the Saudi TV (in Arabic) which went live on the execution.

The given link by the Asian tribune is a fake and no footage is there to back this news. There is hundreds of such news being circulated in social media to strain Islam. You have taken such news to stuff your article. It is not an acceptable approach to point out DMK leader Karunadhi’s standpoint with a portion of statement. I should consider that it was his ignorance or any intention to take this to release his statement!! Why should I consider him? Does he connect in any way with this incident? Then we also have to think about the article of Mahushyaputran, Nakkeeran as well.

Please click this link to read full statement of Mawlawi Magdoom http://lankamuslim.org/2013/01/13/ You can admit how you are contradicting entirely with his statement, also you can contact your Sri Lankan sources i.e embassy to get his contact details if you wish to clarify with him further. Also I will try from my sources here to get his contact details.

Again I stress you not to conclude your thoughts with a general opinion without looking into the facts. Is it a logical argument that a girl was given death sentence by the Muslim scholars merely based on the translation of a shepherd? If you are ready to believe whatever the media say then you have to believe the following news related to this Risaana case which is also published in the media (…. I do not wish to circulate here since it is very abusive and malicious on the characters of those parents who refused to pardon Risaaana in connection with Risaana.. I will send separately to you email.)

Please click below link to recognize how this case was handled by the government of Saudi Arabia.

Earlier Shoura council members have met the Sri Lankan diplomats in early 2012 to discuss the details of court hearings and verdict against Rizana. There was no question were raised on post-mortem or the way the case was mishandled. On the contrary they admired the Saudi authorities for helping them to take this case up to the Royal clemency and their support to convince the parents of the deceased infant.

We are not here to discuss the reasons why the mother failed to breast-feed her infant. But on the perspective of law and the mother, Risaana was a capable domestic helper to execute her responsibilities according to her forged age.

Please bear in mind that the said non-Muslim world leaders and so called human right / world organization raised their voice not in favour of either Rizana or to establish justice. Nevertheless their voice is always against Islam and they are watching with eagle-eye to pinpoint any slip-up to grasp social sympathy to scream against Islamic laws. They are well known for anti-death penalty and capital punishment, but they never voiced against homicide and genocide by the anti- Muslim elements in ME and Afghan …. Do you trust on their claims?

Again the same Dr. Kifaya Ifthikar has stated in the Arab news after visiting her in Jail that Rizana had been treated well in the prison and she absolutely declined the charges of torturing by the police. She asserted her living condition in the prison was pleasing.

Finally my humble suggestion and request to you not to spotlight such sensitive issue by blowing into massive based on the contents of some biased media and westernized statement. The media are very cautious to suppress of facts of this subject and on the other hand they conveniently outspread an indirect message against Islam and its code of law.

Discussing of this subject is not a right solution to restrict the formation of more Rizanaas in this world, but a person like you who are influential with the government sources must take controlling measure to supply so many innocents Risaanaa to the Middle East and to make propaganda against housemaid recruitment in Sri Lanka. Bangladesh, other poor nation like Srilanka has imposed a strict law to restrict the supply of domestic workers to KSA. India has also a better law on housemaid issues.

Last but not least, while analysing all these facts, I should say and criticize prejudiced and double standard policy of this government whereas they have set a very strict law and regulation of Mahram (women should be accompanied with their legal guardian) for women pilgrims and visitors who come to the Saudi Arabia despite a pure intention of worship in the holy mosque. But this country liberalizes this law and flap Mahram policy in the wind while they bring the housemaids to their homes and of course they are accountable to Allah.
