Most of the hospitals conduct free medical camps at other place other than their own only for business purpose. I do not understand the logic behind allowing this medical camp to be conducted at KMT, since KMT has started employing ophthalmologist of its own.
Yes I have supported Free Cancer screening camps held at KMT. It is because we are losing our people to cancers in big numbers and furthermore KMT does not have the facility to treat cancer patients. But conducting Eye camp at KMT?
Most of the time people attended the free camps are asked to come to their hospitals for further treatment. In that sense, people will stop patronizing KMT for their eye problems. Then there is no point employing an ophthalmologist.
By no mean I belittle or discredit this free camp or its organisers. Neither have I suspected some of the organiser's hidden agenda if there is. It is just because I have personal interest in promoting KMT and its standard.
