Does this fare hike apply only to Kozhikode - Kayalpatnam route?

If so, why this fare hike for this route alone while bus fare throughout Tamil Nadu remains the same?

Is this a tactic by present government to discourage the passengers to stop using the service which previous rulers started in order to revenge for not voting for the ruling party?

Or

Same kind of egoism which played its part in "Samacheer Kalvi", New Assembly building, "Kalaingar Kapeedu Thittam" (Though I do not subscribe to the name Kalingar), Ilavasa TV etc., ?
