Municipality elections is on hot bed ?? posted bySalai.Mohamed Mohideen (USA)[08 September 2011] IP: 63.*.*.* United States | Comment Reference Number: 7801
Just curious about the the necessity of publishing the 'Aikkiya pervai (AP)' meeting resolutions/discussion points beforehand (or urgently ) even before formally it come through AP. Is it because, Aikkiya peravai resolutions/discussion falls under hot news/topic or most awaited by all readers since this news was shared by one of the participant... not even through KOTW reporter.
In general, KOTW publish the news once they get it formally from the particular organization (may be through spokeperson or office bearers) or by KOTW news reporter after attending the meeting/event. In the past,I guess AP has requsted NOT to pubish their news before their approval(??).
[Administrator: Since Bro.SK Salih is out of the country, Bro.Hamid Rifai, our source for this news, has been assisting us with the news for more than a month now. News was cross-verified with multiple sources before being published. Just FYI]
Ok... let me come to the topic discussed. Group of people already started MEGA for this purpose & trying to bring everyone under one umbrella to send right people to the office of our municipality. Not sure why Aikkiya(matra??) peravai also trying to re-invent the wheel or pitching-in. Its not that hard or puzzle to understand that, 25 members representation from AP is nothing but 25 votes. Its of smart game (?) to send someone from their camp to Municipality. As usual AP been critizied & they are not ready to learn from their past???.
From the past, I hope they should be knowing that everyone got pissed off with them and even not ready to listen or mind about their resolutions. They can just work on kicking off these common critiques (not serving upto the mark, biased or dominated by certain group, not equally represented by various groups/jamath's etc). Or the best thing is... either to re- organize it by bringing equal representation from all jamath's/organization... strong leadership team to lead and gain everyone's hope or just dissolve it which will atleast pay a way for another united, strong and engergitic forum to be birthed.
Last & least, municipal election going to be more fun this time when compared with past since too many forums, media hype(?), so many voices and discussions on that. I hope... all this will end up for good and help us to bring right people on board.
