Dear brothers of Kayal, Salams!

It is really interested to see few of your comments on the above captioned subject. As my dear freind, Seyed Omer has rightly noted (though his wife has a different opinion altogether), our Ex.President Mrs. Waheedha has a cordial relationship with the current ruling party of Tamilnadu and it will always yield better results to our community in general.

I have seen most of the comments have an emotional value instead of having anything practical. Few people normally speaks emotionally in all sort of the life and may lose to harvest the right crop at the right time. If someone talks on the practical way of getting some good works to our Kayal community through the goverment, we irrespective of all category, echoes sentimental / emotional feelings and make an age old cries viz... women contesting is not permissable and political personalities should be avoided as such.

Kindly let me know in what way if an influential person like Mrs.Waheedha contested the election would affect the unity of our native? Are we all so united now in all the issues??. She has had a very good past record of being in the helm of affairs last time. We should not forget that our out-going Chairman is also having a political affinity in terms of Muslim League and he himself is NOT APOLITICAL! Then why not we have a highly educated women like Mrs.Waheedha to contest this election with the consent of all our Jamaths. It will indeed benefit our town in many ways as the present government is going to be there for next five years for sure! Nothing will happen to any local bodies adminsitration with out the support of either Amma or Aiyya!

We should not forget that our Tuticorin district is comprised of two muncipalities in Kovilpatti & Kayalpatnam which is very much a prestiegious issue for all political parties. Hence, the present goverment may also look in to our municipality without any doubt. So, we should have a consensus in having a reasonable person like Mrs.Waheedha who will definitely do justice to her position as she did last time and will get lots of benefits to our town aswell. Let us all pray for the best to the Almighty!
