Amjad Ali Alim's Eid Announcement is misleading and NOT true !!! posted byArabi Haja (Hong Kong )[11 November 2010] IP: 219.*.*.* Hong Kong | Comment Reference Number: 896
Tamil Nadu Chief Kazhi Dr. Salahuddeen Ayoobi has made an (TN Gazetted)Announcement (see the other message in this website) on the Eid Al-Azha that will fall on the day of 17th Nov. on the very basis of citing Dhul Hajj first moon at Malegaon (a Muslim dominated city in Maharashtra state).
But Toothukudi District Khazi Moulana Amjad Alim has made an announcement on the Eid falls on the same day but with a grossly misleading information to the public on the basis of citing Dhul Hajj moon cited at 'various places of Tamil Nadu' which is NOT TRUE, is from a reputed Kazhi and more an Alim.
Dear Kayalites, now you can judge this by asking why this misleading and a blatant false brave statement in the face of public. Because they do not want to concede that Malegaon moon is not relevant (same) to Kayalpatnam/Thoothukudi muslims to celebrate Eid.
This is the faultline in our society practiced by our Mullahs, then there were 3 - 4 Eids every year.
Hope Amjad Alim will retract his statement with a clarification on par with the TN Chief Kazhi's.
May Allah gives Thowfeeq and Hidaya to one and all.
