Give & take!! posted byMohamed (California)[11 November 2010] IP: 76.*.*.* United States | Comment Reference Number: 902
Its so funny once again and donno whether it is kayal patnam or comedy patnam since every one (non kayalites) is making fun of us (mockery).
The same issue has been discussed repeatedly last few yrs. I'm very happy atleast its limited to 3 since we've so many ideological groups (simple dividing factor) in kayal and luckily not everyone declaring it on different days. If so, it might extended EID in kayal. Honestly speaking, we are sick off this hue & cry every year. Either bring the change or else let us stop this from now on.
The same problem existed in Charlotte (US) some yrs back since indo/paki masjid group dont go with Arabs decision on Eid declaration and vice versa. So Eid was celebrated on different days. Later for the sake of unity & interests of the people, they just worked together and started to go with 1 Eid decision/declaration by Arab community group and other EID by Indo/paki group. Problem solved!!.
Will it work out for our hometown? Are these groups ready to 'give & take'?. We often criticize the ideologies of the other groups & challenging each other for debate (Vivatham to prove someone's stand point). So far, we are not prepared or even learned to unite on common things for the benefit of our people.
I dont know seriously...making small compromise through 'give & take' on this for the happiness of our people will kill the idelogies of the so called groups?? Not sure whether it is ideology or egoism/groupism
Let us air our emotions and desperation very strongly to the concerned people and bring them to the table to make it happen (if possible for this Eid ul Adha).
The day is not too far to see single EID every year in Kayal (InsaAllah). Till then, keep our fingers crossed!!
