Now you are really talking, in fact writing. Keep it up, I appreciate your enthusiasm towards well being / welfare of our hometown. I guess you are in a right track .Keep it up.

Being in a foreign land, do not dare to think that you know everything which is going on in our Municipality. Mere words are not enough to show to those officials and councilors that we care for our hometown. We must put it in our deeds.

As far as the second Resolution is concerned, my question is why the hell some councilors were adamant on passing the resolution immediately without proper consultation, consideration ?.

What people like "Snake Babu" know the magnitude of this project ?

Entrusting the 2nd pipeline project with TWAD board instead of our Municipality is not going to eliminate the corruption. Nobody in his right mind believes so. Corruption is part and parcel of our lives and we can not change it overnight. But the quality of the project will be better if it is awarded to TWAD Board as it has the experience and expertise. At the same time some of our men will loose their share.

All our councilors have their right to voice their opinion on any proposal put forward in-front of them. They have every right to support or reject it. But the words some of them allegedly uttered were something to worry about. Probably the reason(s) for passing the resolution despite being objected by the chairman and few councilors were

1) Part of a conspiracy against the chairman (see the note under)

2) Takers will take something at the end of the day.

Note: A Conspiracy was hatched with the blessing of "The Financier" during vice-chairman election to put pressure on her in order to get her quit and face the re-election. Part of the conspiracy discussed was to go against her decision on everything and or anything on whatever way possible without being sensed by public lest they be met by the wrath of the public. (Passing of this resolution sounded like the first step towards it ?)
