Nice booklet !! posted bySalai.Mohamed Mohideen (USA)[21 November 2012] IP: 205.*.*.* United States | Comment Reference Number: 24001
I got a chance to read this medical booklet/guide which I received through email from Br. AR Refaye. I would say its really worth reading & great piece of info in this small guide. Also I would second Dr. Bavanasakumar's view (in his preface), its a nice translation & articluated with tamil equivalent (rarely used) words.
while reading this book, few years back discussion with Dr.Ali Raza (kayalite in US) is coming to my mind. During his trip to kayal, he met his school friend (<40's) who was a heart patient but not serious about it since it is common in our society @ his age. He was also concerned about growing diseases in kayal due to unhygienic food habbits & no / less physical work (excercises).
He wanted to come up with some medical booklet by translating key references & tips from world famous books on these subjects in English. Unfortunately it didnt happen but finally I see it happened through emirates based KWA's. Wonderful Job !!
Not sure this booklet is already circulated... If not please circulate this @ every door step in kayal to ensure, it serve the purpose of coming up with this wonderful effort. Also, as requested in the above comments, plz upload this guide in some shared portal which helps the readers of our kayal websites.
We need to keep in mind that, world is becoming so materialistic. No one is having time (or even doesnt want) to think about others. It is so unfortunate to see the new trend of criticizing or questioning (like a fault finding machine) our social welfare organizations ... which is not only wasting everyone's time but also spitting on our own face.
Even though it is less than a year, kWA Abudhabi has been doing a fantastic efforts. That is the beauty of kayal & good kayalites nature. Wherever we land... we think of our people in back home and start to help them under the banner of KWA. I strongly believe all our social welfare org (doesn't matter whether they do more / less or even no work.. atleast they have social thought) can bring the change in kayal & shape the future of our hometown by uplifting the fellow kayalites in all aspects.
May allah accept all our kayal association/ org's good work & reward them with multitudes in this life and hearafter !!
