சூரியன் சந்திரனை (நெருங்கிப்) பிடிக்க முடியாது இரவு பகலை முந்தமுடியாது. இவ்வாறே எல்லாம் (தம்) வட்டவரைக்குள் நீந்திச் செல்கின்றன.

ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை பின்னேரம் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை இரவே ஆகும். திங்கட்கிழமை பின்னேரமே திங்கட்கிழமை இரவு ஆகும்.

அஸ்ஸலாமு அலைக்கும் வரஹ்மத்துல்லாஹி வபரக்காத்துஹூ. இறையருள் நிறைக.

Date = day + night

In Islam, the night precedes the day.

The new hijri date begins with the setting of sun. Hence for e.g. once the sun sets after the 11th day in Ramadhaan, the 12th has already begun.

So, if today is Thursday 3:15 pm then Maghrib begins at 5:00 pm then know from the moment Maghrib time begins on that day, Friday begins.

The Islamic cycle of a day begins with the setting, not the rising of the sun. In countries such as Saudi Arabia, where the Islamic calendar alone is norm, when someone is speaking about going out on Friday night, he means the night that comes before the “day” of Friday.

And since the day starts at maghrib, then its the first of Ramadan. On the last day, we dont pray Taraweeh, and that’s because the day (new day) has started at maghrib, so Ramadan is over and Eid has begun. That is also why we start to say the Takbir for Eid after Maghrib of the last day of Ramadan. This is all because the Islamic month is lunar, so the moon we see after Ramadan is that of Eid, so we celebrate Eid, and Ramadan is then officially over. This information is really crucial to find out the odd nights in the last 10 days of ramadhan for seeking layla-tul-qadr for e.g the night preceding the 27th day is actually the 27th night

Q 1: When does the day start according to Islamic calculations? Does it start from the break of the dawn, or after midnight as astronomers count? Please, provide evidence from the Qur’an or the Sunnah.

இங்கே முதலில் சூரியன் (பகல் ) சந்திரனை (இரவை ) (நெருங்கிப்) பிடிக்க முடியாது என்று தெளிவா உள்ளதே ?

இரவு பகலை முந்தாது என்ற சூரா யாசீன் 36;40 தில் வருவதாக கூறு பவர்கள் அதற்க்கு முந்திய வசனம் 36.37 வசனம் இரவும் அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு அத்தாட்சி அந்த இரவிலிருந்தே பகலை நாம் பிரித்து எடுக்கின்றோம் வ ஆயதுல் லுஹுமுள் லைலு நச்லகு மின்ஹு நஹாரா என்ற இந்த வசனத்தை ஏன் கவனத்தில் கொள்ள மறுக்கிறார்கள் .

குர் ஆன் முழுதும் இரவை பகலை விட முற்படுத்திய கூறி இருக்க இவர்கள் பஜ்ர் தான் நாளின் ஆரம்பம் என்று குர் ஆணுக்கு மாற்றமாகவே எவ்வாறு கருத இயலும் ?

இங்கே பதிவிடப்பட்டிருக்கும் எந்த கருத்திலும் திரு வேதத்தின் வசனமான "இரவு பகலை முந்தமுடியாது" என்ற கருத்திற்கு வேறு ஒரு விளக்கத்தை குடுக்க முடியாத நிலையை காண்கிறோம்.

"ஒவ்வொரு கூட்டத்தாரும் தங்களிடமிருப்பதைக் கொண்டே மிகிழ்வடைகிறார்கள்" என்ற திரு வசனத்தினை (30:32) மெய்பிப்பவர்களாக அவரவர் சார்ந்த கொள்கையை தூக்கிப்பிடிக்கவே முயற்சிக்கிறார்கள்.

மேலும் இவர்கள் "தொழுகைகளை (குறிப்பாக) நடுத்தொழுகையை பேணிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்; (தொழுகையின்போது) அல்லாஹ்வின் முன்னிலையில் உள்ளச்சப்பாட்டுடன் நில்லுங்கள்" (02:238) என்ற வசனத்திற்கு விரிவுரையாக நபிகள் நாயகம் ஸல்லல்லாஹு அலைஹி வஸல்லம் அவர்கள் நடுத்தொழுகை என்பது அஸ்ரு தொழுகை என்று சொன்னதை எப்படி விளக்குவார்கள்?
