My heartiest congratulations to the new President of MMHS Janab Haji Palayam Mohamed Hasan. May the new Management improvise the school infrastructure and its facilities for the students...
I can still remember the class rooms during 1980s (the kudisai) and it still looks the same...
Koos Machaan nice to recall the names of our former teachers...and you may include Prof. Zafarullah (Principal), Mr. Muthu Veeran, Mr. Hidayathullah, Mr. Rauf, Mr. Hanifa etc...

Salaams to all...In recent past this has been happening in our home town and my suggestion is that jewellery is one of a valuable asset which has to be taken care of...may be a safe box (irumbu petti) or bank safety locker will prevent such incidents...this may cost you a little (one time or per year) but your valuable will be safe...
What happened to our Goorkas? are they still active in our home town? if yes they should be called in by Iykkiyap Peravai to look into this matter. A watchdog to appoint to moniter Goorkas movements to see are they really doing their job.

Salaam Brothers/Sisters
We are talking about "whos responsibility to remove the post" but didn't think of the terrible way of installation of this huge post...I would blame the contractors who had done an unacceptable job in installing such a huge post. The concerned department should investigate and take necessary action against that contractor as this incident is life threatning and should not happen in the future.
Such huge lamp post requires solid base and if that base is not up to the requirement, then this will be a norm in the future...
Huge amount of money is spent and this is what we get?
Kayal Beach Assocn should urge the Municipality to take necessary action against the contractor...

Salaams to all
No all Hajees are browsing internet. (I might be right or wrong...)
My suggestion is that the Haj Services/Travel Agents should conduct classes on the process & procedures of performing Haj. This will enlighten all Hajees and to get prepared instead of following the Lead at the at the time of performing the rituals. They might even mis-understand what the Lead says and may perform wrongly which may squander their holy journey.

This is an important issue where our Panchayat Board had to take necessary action. This is our Home Town and we have to keep our town neat and clean.
Here in Singapore the Govt is taking serious measures and awareness programs on littering. The whole World knows that Singapore is a "FINE" country, where for littering it will cost you S$300.00 (abt Rs.10000) and for spitting in public places will cost you S$150.00 (Rs.5000). If this kind of measures taken with a nominal fine, we might see some results...
Clearing the garbage is another issue. If cleared within the day, then we might not see such mess (less smell & less flies) as we all know stray aminals browse them for feeding themselves and may scatter the garbage...
More awareness programs required and purely depends on individual behavior...

Alhamdulillah..good initiative taken.
Nevertheless Education is important, Self-Confidence, Spoken English and Possitive Attitude is very important for our boys to get prepared for their fruitful future.
I would request the organisers to include these in your programs.
