It is a great and wonderful task done by IIM Baithulmal. It is also a great help to poor brothers and sisters who really need the financial help may be for medical or educational aids. We should encourage such donors and others to contribute more for this noble cause so that who took help from the baithulmal, Insha Allah may donate more and more when the are eligible to contribute in the future.

I am very much sure by seeing our population strength the association by Grace of Almighty Allah will donate more and more.

Please publish the Baithul mal addres where one can send the donations preferably with the bank a/c no.

மர்ஹூம் அவர்களும் நானும் LK எலிமெண்டரி பள்ளியிலும் KA உயர்நிலை பள்ளியிலும் ஒன்றாகவே படித்து வந்தோம்.(1961 ESLC & 1964 SSLC) பள்ளி படிப்பில் மர்கூம் அவர்கள் முதல் மாணவனாக வருவது உண்டு..

பள்ளி பருவத்தில் இருந்தே அவர்களுள்க்கு பிறரை நேசிப்பதும் படிப்பில் உதவி சேயுவதும் தன்னுடைய கடமை என்று நினைத்த கோமகன். இன்று நம் எல்லோரையும் விட்டு இறைவனிடம் சேர்த்துவிட்டார்கள்.

அன்னாரின் நற்பணிகள் நம் அனைவரின் நெஞ்சத்தில் நின்று இருக்கும் எல்லாம் வல்ல இறைவன் அவர்களின் பாவங்கள் இருப்பின் அவிகளை எல்லாம் மன்னித்து மறுமை நாளில் அல்லாஹ் வின் அர்சில் கீழ் இடம் கொடுத்து கவ்தார் தடாகத்தின் நீரை அருந்த செய்து மித பெரிய உன்னதமான சொர்கம் என்கிற ஜன்னத்துல் பிர்தௌஸ் வழங்கிட பிராத்தனை செய்தவனாக விடைபெறுகிறேன்.

Dear All, Salam to all.

My humble suggestion is that before going for this work, the administration must have done repairs of these shut of valves.

There is lot of leakage water from this valve from the gland packing, while the valve is is open position. As a result, apart from the water wastage, there is lot of water accumulates in the closure and mix with seepage of sewage or under ground water mix with this storage and when the water valve is closed this accumulated dirty water goes back to the supply lines and accumulates in the pipe line.

When the valves is opened, this dirty water is also carried along with the potable drinking water and supplied to the house hold connection.

This phenomenon is true even when the water in the supply pipe lines running sideways or across the road leaks and accumulates on the roads. When supply is stopped the water thus accumulated on the roads with animal excreta will seep to the pipe line again and supplied the house hold when the water supply is resumed.

This must be also one of the reasons for the disease spreading among children in our native place. We can take a sample of water from the house hold near these leaks takes place and from the main overhead tanks and see the difference counts of bacterias presents.

My suggestion is that please include this repairs also in the tender immediately or at the earliest possible.

Dear All,

I am one among his oldest student who studied in K.A High School in the year 1962 to 1964. He thought me composite Maths in 10th and 11th STD (Old SSLC). I continued my relationship with him till up to his death and all during these around 50 years we had very good relationship as a family friend. I am one among the students who proud to say that I am Engineer today because of his maths teaching and his personal advice. He always used to say that learning is mutual and even get my personal opinion even in his career build up too. He is not only good to students but also to his subordinates and helpful in counselling in getting united with some married couple too

I was in Chennai on 7th November and visited the Billroath Hospital where he was given the treatment for his brain heamerage. He never visited any hospital in his life time till the fateful day. He fell unconscious in the night of 20th October due to high B.P and was admitted to the nearby hospital and later shifted to Billroath. The owner of Saravana Stores at T.Nagar Chennai who was his old student at Ganesar Higher Elementary School at Pannikkadar Kudiyerrupu was undoubtedly in the side of his family members with financial as well as mental help throughout in the hospital.

They had two silibings one girl and a boy, who are got married and well setteled and have children,

His wife Madam Gunaseely teacher was all along with him for his entire carrier and it is definitely a great loss to her as well as to their entire family and friends. I am joining along with all my friends and his students to convey my deep felt condolences to the entire family and time will be the healing factor to ease and console the family

I deeply regret that I could not attend this meeting since I overlooked the notice board at Appapalli vassal thinking it is a previous notice.

It was very heartening to note the ‘Open Policy/Administration’ of our beloved President Mrs. Abhida and other ward members. Our best wishes with the dua to fulfil her wishes to overcome all the hurdles she is facing in recent times.

I would like to point out certain things which can be done without any hindrance. For example, we notice lot of water leaks at the valves, underground pipeline leakages in our wards. The underground leakage is more serious since at rainy season when the water supply is stopped , the dirty water from the ground level may seep into the pipes and and logs inside the pipe. When water valve is opened this contaminated water will be carried along with the fresh water and supplied to the households. This requires digging of the road and plugs the leakages with adequate safe chemicals available.

The second one is gland leakages at the opening of water valves. This requires only a minimum effort to tighten the gland’s two nuts. If the leakage persists, we have to put addition gland pickings like graphite impregnated Teflon which will last longer and stops the leakage. This can be done by any plumber.

The administration can request the people in that ward to contribute small amount for this purpose and I can supervise the work free without any cost to undertake this work in our ward no 9 and in solukar /kochiaar street. I am available at our native place till 21st of this month. If the panchayat gives permission I can undertake a sample job at near our water tanks shut off valves (Near Red star Sangam).

Similarly it can be done in other areas. This will save water and avoid water wars in the near future.

Regarding the Solar street lights, it is a good idea except someone should take a responsibility in that area to safe guards the lights and the batteries. My experience in my area where I am working (Maharashtra) lot of lights have been provided by the NGO’s, and all the batteries had been stolen and became non functional. One lamp with the suitable battery may cost around 35,000/- with installation cost.

With that once again I regret my inability to attend the last meeting and my late response for my opinion in this portal.

Yet another pollution problem. All the coal fired boilers will have dust pollution plus some co2 gas emmission etc. Same problem was faced some years back at Dhanu power plant near Mumbai having 2 x 250 MW power plant by BSES (reliance group). All the Chikku waadi(Sapotta) were affected.

After lot of protest from the locals. the adminitration had done lot of remdedies in compacting the pollution problem. Now it is within the permisable level.

The organisation had received lot of awards from Government of India. So DCW adminitration should follow the footsteps of BSES.

Innalillahi va Innaillaihi rajiyoon.

Since I am one of the family members of the deceased child, I thank all of us our brothers and sisters who felt sorry and for the 'Dua' they made for this girl.

The cause for the cancer is too many . One of them is chemical contamination. I remember that DCW was making CTC (Carbon tetra Chloride) a cleaning agent from the chlorine gas they let out. This chemical is definitely a chemical to cause cancer. I know pretty well that one of a factories in Tarapur which used to make this chemical, killed the Director of the company due to cancer, many workers who worked in this factory were also affected. Now it is a banned chemical and that factory was closed 5 years back.

I do not know still the chemical is made in the same name or may be in a different name. One has to check this up. Any way death is certain and we all belong to Him. He creates us and takes us at His will. All of us in our family must try to digest the incident but only time will be the healing factor. I request all our brothers and sisters add dua for the girl and her parents in their prayers.
